The period 2008-2014 is closely connected with my Russian nature. Despite the fact that in 2008 I left Russia for France, my connection with Russia was still very strong, perhaps even stronger than when I lived there (it's said that there is no paradox). As a Russian, I liked to compare the rigid geometry with the uneven picturesque form, to dig into myself and my craving for self-destruction. The world is a struggle, in which I will lose sooner or later. This feeling still
possesses me. At the same time, as I mastered the French language, I became passionate about French wordplay. I liked to notice interesting parallels in the language that native speakers do not pay attention to.
Once, I tried to work with acrylic, which is popular in France, and I was encouraged by its ease of use, so all the works of this period are made with acrylic.
